MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi, I'm Zaya, the founder and creative heart behind Gaiazaia. What began as a love for craftsmanship and meaningful design grew into a passion for creating pieces that celebrate each bride's unique story. My creative journey began in architecture, where I developed an appreciation for form, detail, and thoughtful design. Drawn to a more personal form of artistry, I later pursued fashion studies at Instituto di Moda Burgo in Jakarta and continued refining my skills through specialized workshops with established designers, including Billy Tjong.
The most meaningful part of this work is getting to know the brides behind each veil and the stories, dreams, and cherished moments they wish to carry with them on their wedding day. I believe the most beautiful designs begin with a conversation, which is why I love creating a warm and collaborative experience where every idea is welcomed.
